The Forum on Education Abroad cultivates educators who champion high-quality education abroad experiences that ignite curiosity, impact lives, and contribute to a better world.

Donate to The Forum's Mission

You can contribute to The Forum’s mission by contributing to any or all of the following programs:

Forum Fellowships

Forum Fellowships support education abroad professionals from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges, and Hispanic Serving Institutions. Each Fellow is enrolled in The Forum’s Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program and they will have the opportunity to participate virtually or in-person.

This unique opportunity will support the professional development of each Fellow by expanding the Fellow’s network of colleagues through participation in the Certification cohort, and providing the Fellow an in-depth introduction to the 6th edition of the Standards of Good Practice.

For more information or to apply for a Fellowship, please click here: Forum Fellowship Application.

Membership Pathways Grants

The Forum Membership Pathway Grant was established as a means to provide membership funding to less-resourced institutions and organizations and to assist The Forum in reaching its goals for diversifying membership.

All institutions and organizations are eligible to apply for this grant, but a limited amount of funding is available. As such, early application in the membership year is recommended. Priority selection will be given to traditionally less-resourced institutions, including but not limited to HBCUs, TCUs, and other MSIs, community colleges, and international institutions, especially those located in countries classified as less than high-income economies.

Sustainability Initiatives

As a signatory to the CANIE Accord, The Forum has committed to reducing its carbon footprint and encouraging our members and attendees to our events to do the same.

By contributing to our sustainability initiatives you will be helping us support those coming to our events who are making a conscious effort to reduce their emissions while traveling. You will also contribute to the continual development and refinement of our Guidelines for Advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Through Education Abroad (2021) and help with offsetting unavoidable carbon emissions.

Conference Attendance Grants

As part of our initiatives around Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, The Forum is committed to encouraging and enabling colleagues from all backgrounds around the world to attend our conferences and events.

By donating to this stream, you will be aiding colleagues to attend our events from HBCUs, TCUs, and other MSIs, community colleges, and international institutions, especially those located in countries classified as less than high-income economies.
