Our professional staff and cadre of affiliated trainers, consultants, and Forum-trained facilitators are available to augment our partners’ capacity on grant proposals covering a wide range of topics and projects, including training, program development and evaluation, and research project design and execution. 

Through a variety of culturally appropriate, inclusive, and engaging formats, ranging from webinars to interactive workshops and institutes offered both in-person and virtually, we deliver the highest quality programming, insights, and resources in both English and Spanish. 

A Proven Track Record 

At The Forum, we have a proven track record of collaborating with institutions of higher learning and education abroad organizations around the world to secure funding and deliver results on a variety of projects. Recent successes include: 

Beginning in October 2022, our collaboration with one of the top business schools in the US, The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business, will help build capacity for education abroad through training initiatives funded by the prestigious Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) grant. 

Training and Certification Initiative, in collaboration with Global Edu Consorcio de Universidades Costarricenses para la Educación Internacional, with support from PROCOMER (Promotora de Comercio Exterior, Costa Rica) 

Careers of Language Study Abroad Alumni: A Comprehensive Investigation, in collaboration with Penn State University’s Center for Language Acquisition, funded by the Department of Education

At The Forum we have over 20 years of organizational history supporting the field of education abroad in the U.S. and internationally and access to hundreds of experts, including our professional staff and a network of consultants and affiliated education abroad professionals and faculty. 

The Forum is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for the field of education abroad. This designation signifies that The Forum is uniquely qualified to produce and discuss the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad, to deliver capacity-building training, and to develop and share industry-leading resources useful at all levels, departments, and/or academic units across an institution or organization. 

As a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, we are driven by our mission. Grant-Writing Support 

The Forum offers consulting services to help you prepare compelling proposals for submission to external funding agencies. Our consultants work with you to turn your great idea into a fundable proposal. Whether you are starting from scratch, or just need another set of eyes on a near-complete proposal, we are able to assist.  

Fees vary based on the scope of the consultation and the length of the proposal.
