Forum Fellowship

nspired by the Forum Council, the Forum Fellowship supports education abroad professionals from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges, and Hispanic Serving Institutions. Up to five Fellowships will be awarded in 2023.

Fellows will be enrolled in The Forum’s Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program and they will have the opportunity to participate one of the following two options to begin the Certification Journey:

  • Summer Accelerated Residency

    The 2023 in-person Summer Accelerated Residency will be hosted in Columbus, OH at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. on June 26 – 28, 2023. Three (June 25 – 26) nights’ accommodations are included as part of the Fellowship. Candidates or their institutions will the cost of travel to/from Columbus, OH. and the cost of breakfast and dinner (3 lunches are provided by The Forum).

  • Professional Certification Virtual Cohort

    Self Paced: Three workshops will be provided in fall 2023 and three in spring 2024. In addition to attending the six live virtual workshops, fellows will have the opportunity to connect during virtual office hours to discuss their assignments.

    SIT Forum Certification: Forum Fellows can also apply their award to the asynchronous course offered in collaboration with the SIT Graduate Institute.

This unique opportunity will support the professional development of each Fellow by expanding the Fellow’s network of colleagues through participation in the Certification cohort, and providing the Fellow an in-depth introduction to the 6th edition of the Standards of Good Practice.
