COVID-19 Crisis Recovery Program: Individual Membership Extension

To support our colleagues during the COVID-19 crisis, The Forum invited education abroad professionals who experienced job loss as a result of the pandemic to apply for complimentary individual membership for the year. For the 2021-22 membership year, The Forum is pleased to offer complimentary membership extensions to individuals in this program who remain unemployed.

To qualify for the extension of complimentary individual membership, an individual:

  • must have previously been accepted through the COVID-19 Crisis Recovery Program;
  • must have been employed by a Forum member institution in good standing at the time of separation;
  • that separation must have occurred between January 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021;
  • must still be unemployed.

Membership extensions will only be granted to individuals who meet the above qualifications and complete the form below by Friday, October 8, 2021. This membership extension will expire on June 30, 2022. The Forum reserves the right to disqualify an individual if employment status is in question or cannot be verified.

Individuals who are now employed and no longer qualify for the individual membership, may instead qualify for institutional membership privileges if their new employer is a current Forum member.

We ask that all individuals who were previously accepted through the COVID-19 Crisis Recovery Program complete the form below to update their employment information and to determine eligibility for the extended individual membership or institutional membership privileges through their new employer.
